London Educational Consulting's mission is to help schools, school systems, and school personnel by providing high quality training and support that will help improve student academic performance, school climate, school culture, or prepare for an accreditation visit.
Much of our work in the recent past has focused on:
- Classroom Management
- Behavior Management - including bully prevention and conflict resolution
- Instructional Management and Alignment.
These management functions for teachers can be extended to the development of school-wide initiatives to impact school climate and change the culture of a school.
We provide high quality, customized training and consulting services for P - 12 schools and districts. High quality training most often includes a follow-up session or coaching component. We have found that training that does not include this component is seldom as effective as training that includes follow-up suppot. In times of tight budgets, follow-up may not always be possible, but we hope to work with clients to find a way to make that happen. When possible, we work with schools or school systems to figure out the best way to deliver effective training within their circumstances.
There are available pre-made or can customize templates for teachers or schools. The pre-made templates are in the areas of classroom management and instructional planning. They can be customized to meet the needs of any school or district contact us with your needs and we will create a template to your specifications.
We offer conflict resolution training for the teachers in your school or district. We are certified Conflict Resolution trainers and as part of what is included in that training, is a focus on bully prevention, social justice, and school climate improvement.
There are several schools and districts that we have helped to develop or refine anti bullying policies so they meet recently passed laws enacted in many states. This training can be up to four full days, eight half days, etc. We also can provide ongoing support to assist your efforts in implementation of these techniques into your classrooms and schools.
Contact us for an introductory PowerPoint that describes what is included in the training.
