London Educational Consulting's mission is to help schools, school systems, and school personnel by providing high quality training and support that will help improve student academic performance, school climate, school culture, or prepare for an accreditation visit. 

Designing and implementing a Standards-based Report Card has become a more recent focus of our work.  Training teachers and parents to look at things differently in a standards-based environment is key to successful implementation of any standards-based initiative.  Changing the way teachers assess student growth and communicate student progress is a critical component.  This is a natural part, we believe, of moving toward common core implementation since the changes to classroom practice in a standards-based grading environment are often similar to those needed in a common core implementation.

What We Do

We provide high quality, customized training and consulting services to the education profession.  High quality training most often includes a follow-up session or coaching component.  We have found that training that does not include this component is seldom as effective as training that includes follow-up support.  We realize in times of tight budgets, follow-up may not always be possible, but hope to work with clients to find a way to make that happen.  We will  work with schools or school systems to figure out the best way to deliver effective training within their circumstances.

We also provide pre-made and customizable templates for teachers or schools.  The templates are in the areas of classroom management and instructional planning.  They can be customized to meet the needs of any school or district by contacting us.
